
Zeds Dead Reveals New Record Label Called 'Altered States'
For over a decade, Zeds Dead has been a frontrunner in the bass music community. They're undeniable passion matched with their continuous hustle has rewarded them with a wave of well-deserved success. Recently, the Canadian duo took to Twitter to announce the upcoming launch of their brand-new imprint called Altered States.
Don't worry diehard Deadbeats fans, Zeds Dead aren't leaving behind their acclaimed label. They are simply branching out to focus on the more downtempo and experimental side of bass music. The announcement was perfectly timed with the five-year milestone anniversary of their Deadbeats' label inauguration.
"We wanted to open the door to a world branching off of @Deadbeats. One where we explore sounds that take you into a different space, one of dreams and other @Altered_St8s of consciousness."
In addition to revealing this exciting new undertaking, the new brand's logo was also introduced. We can't get enough of the chill vibes the image projects - it's making us even more intrigued to see if it will match the upcoming tracks overall sound. That's right, new music is on its way...and sooner than you think!
Mark your calendars; on Friday, March 26, 2021, the label's first 13-track mixtape christened Catching Z's will be dropping. You can pre-save the upcoming album here. Even more exciting? The mixtape's first track 'Late Night Drive' will be released this Friday, March 5th, 2021. Now, all that's left to say is, "is it Friday yet?"
