Tomorrowland Releases First Phase of Artists for Summer Digital Festival
Good news, Flag fam; your summer plans just got locked! Following Tomorrowland's recent revelation confirming its beloved festival would return to Boom, Belgium in late August and early September 2021, its organizers just announced another highly-anticipated virtual edition!
Mark your calendars; on July 16 and 17, 2021, the magical Island of Pāpiliōnem will welcome back the People of Tomorrow to Tomorrowland - Around the World, the official press release confirms. Although Michiel Beers, co-founder of Tomorrowland, shared that organizers were "positive" about this year's event, he disclosed it was a "very complex situation," thus the the second edition was born.
Honestly, we're not complaining in the slightest. With the current state of the globe, it's unlikely that many events, let alone festivals will take place. Perhaps some of you may have virtual events fatigue, but we're thrilled to experience so many wonderful acts in a safe environment.
While we patiently wait for the world to get back to normal, Tomorrowland is giving us hope for a brighter future. In the spirit of positivity, its organizers have officially announced the first phase of artists to play this year's digital event.
The People of Tomorrow can expect special performances by Armin van Buuren, Claptone, Nicky Romero and Adam Beyer. The complete lineup will drop in the next coming weeks. Until then, get ready to purchase your tickets and limited-edition packages on Thursday, May 6 at 9:00 a.m. ET here.
