Rampage Announces 2020 Edition Is Pushed Back Until Next Year
There's no denying the coronavirus pandemic has halted most of our anticipated plans scheduled to take place in 2020. Earlier this year, many drum & bass and dubstep enthusiasts were crushed as Rampage was forced to postpone their beloved festival to September.
Recently, the organizers shared an unfortunate update regarding the upcoming event. "It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our new date for the Rampage 2020 Weekend in September will not work out and we have to reschedule the event again."
They continued their official statement by giving their followers a glimpse into some of the challenges they have had to face in order to attempt to make the festival happen. They shared,
"In Belgium, authorities are sticking to the number for people allowed at events (200 indoor and 400 outdoor) and it is no way near what we need to make the Rampage Weekend happen. The way the pandemic is moving right now does not offer any prospects either."
A such, Rampage will now take place on April 23, 2021, to April 24, 2021. If you are a ticketholder, rest assured, "your ticket will remain valid, or you can choose to have it changed into a voucher, which can be used to grab merchandise, should you prefer that option." Additional information can be found within the official statement below.
The biggest drum & bass and dubstep party in the universe ended their statement with some words of encouragement. "One day, we will overcome all this and that will be the day we reunite to celebrate life, love and bass music at Sportpaleis Antwerp!" On behalf of The Flag Gang, we hope you're hanging in there, Flag fam! Better days are coming...
