The iHeartRadio Music Awards Nominees Have Been Announced!

VOTE

Awards season is officially in full-swing! The iHeart Radio Music Awards is arguably one of the most highly anticipated annual music awards shows. Since 2014, they have recognized the industry's top artists. This year's edition will be no exception. Recently, iHeartRadio unveiled its 2020 nominees. Trust us, you're definitely going to want to check this out...

Throughout 2019, the iHeartRadio stations and app have been actively collecting data, including the most-played artist and tracks. With these eye-opening statistics, the iHeartRadio Music Awards team can accurately place each artist to each of the corresponding categories. In addition, they can offer a preview of the upcoming hits of 2020.

As musical tastes change, so do the nominees! This year's finalists include some new faces. Although sprinkling some new artists into the mix is thrilling, what's even more exciting is seeing if the newbies can take home the win!

As the anticipation continues to fill the air, it's only fitting we jump into the dance categories. Canada's very own Loud Luxury has been nominated for their hit 'Body' featuring brando. Although 'Body' is a chart-climber, the single will be up against some other heavy competition, including Kygo's 'Higher Love' and Marshmello's 'Here With Me'.

To add even more excitement into the mix, Diplo, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Loud Luxury and Marshmello have all been nominated for the Dance Artist of the Year award!

As we *im*patiently wait for March 23, 2020, to roll around, fans are encouraged to vote for their favourite in each category. The upcoming awards show will feature live performances, including Justin Bieber, as well as surprise duets and collaborations. In addition, the award presentations will reveal who will take home the win(s).

This year’s nominees represent the music heard all year on our stations and the iHeartRadio App. We can’t wait to bring them together for one incredible night of celebration and see who takes home the award in all thirty-plus categories.” -Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Group for iHeartMedia
