Diplo Tapped to Be the First-Ever Artist to Perform on Top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge
One of Sydney’s most recognizable pieces of architecture will be host to a unique performance never seen before: a live DJ set at the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
DJ/Producer turned pop star darling Diplo will be the first-ever performer on the structure. The set will happen on the 26th of September to coincide with the 21st anniversary of the Bridgeclimb event. This event is special in that tourists are able to use a special pedestrian section of the bridge to see incredible 360-degree views of the beautiful city. Their website confirms over 4 million people have climbed the bridge.
Although the set will not be live-streamed, the event will be recorded and will be able to watch on-demand at a later date.
The American DJ who has as many side projects as cowboy hats announced the end of his Jamaican-American project Major Lazer, with their last show scheduled for December 27th at Contact Winter Music Festival.
Sensing a potential gap in his resume, the 'Give Dem' producer has started a new house label, Higher Ground. The first release will be from US Duo Walker & Royce, who are coming off their latest smash Bodies Do The Talking.
