Digital Mirage 2 Rescheduled in Support of BLM Movement

Without a doubt, this past week has been one of the most empowering of 2020, thus far. Seeing most come together in solidarity to show their support of the Black Lives Matter movement truly brought us to tears! There's still so much change that needs to happen in the world; that said, every little bit of effort goes a long way in the fight against injustice in the black community.

Recently, Brownies and Lemonade confirmed they will be pushing back its highly anticipated second installment of Digital Mirage. The online music festival was originally scheduled to take place this weekend. However, B&L shared in a statement, "We do not want our festival to divert any attention from the Black Lives Matter movement and the current state of the country." Proximity followed suit on their official socials, reinforcing the important message.

This beautiful gesture is but one example of the stand many parties in the dance music community have taken to show their support as allies. They continued by stating, "We will spend this time educating on the deep injustices in this country and use our platform as a voice for change." We encourage our Flag fam to also take this time to reflect on what kind of changes they can do to make the world a better place. Check out the full statement below:

Digital Mirage 2 will now take place on Friday, June 12, 2020, to Sunday, June 14, 2020. Be sure to RSVP for next weekend's virtual festival here - there's even opportunities to score some seriously killer prizes! To make matters even better, all proceeds from the digital event are going to the Equal Justice Initiative and the Color of Change in partnership with Plus1. Lastly, fans can count on special performances by Malaa, Baauer, Kaskade, Blanke, A-Trak, Vintage Culture, Anna Lunoe, and many more! Don't miss it.
