Beachclub up Nine Spots in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2020 List
The results are in! As of 10:00 a.m. EST this morning, DJ Mag's Top 100 Club winners were announced. The annual poll celebrates and recognizes the best clubs in the world. Despite the fact that most venues are closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, DJ Mag chose to move forward with the highly anticipated unveiling.
The British monthly magazine dedicated to electronic dance music and DJs hosted the live countdown. A whopping four million viewers each year tune in to witness history unfold! This year's live countdown marked an extra special occurrence. In addition to discovering which clubs made the list, it also highlighted their important role in the scene. The clubs offer attendees so much more than, simply, a designated space to party. They are a location in which we unite in the love of music and celebrate all the joys that life has to offer! In times like these, we begin to realize just how much we took these places for granted.
Taking home the win is Brazil's Green Valley, a non-mover and consecutive 3-time winner! Hï Ibiza locked down the second spot. In third place is Echostage. Perhaps one of the most exciting revelations is Montreal's very own Beachclub that went up nine spots to hold down the No. 29 position! Olivier Primeau and his team are constantly hard at work trying to improve the overall experience. Throughout the years, we've seen some impressive renovations takes place. In addition, the growing list of dance and urban music artists is remarkable on its own. As such, there's no stopping them from moving up to that highly sought-after No. 1 spot in the future!
