Armin Van Buuren Reveals a Brand-New Anthem and Festival Dates During ASOT 1000

The A State of Trance team certainly started the year off with a bang! On January 21, 2021, Armin van Buuren's acclaimed radio show hit its 1000th episode. In celebration of this monumental occasion, a spectacular 5-hour long episode took place. The seven-day-long countdown stream certainly helped build the anticipation to this impressive milestone. If you caught it, you know it was totally worth the wait... 

As you can imagine, this highly-anticipated event brought a lot of special moments, including the unveiling of the Top 50 tracks of the ASOT Top 1000 list, a brand-new anthem and Armin's surprise announcement about a new in-person trance festival (yes, you read that correctly). It's no wonder the exciting event reached over 50 million fans from 121 different countries!

The new anthem, 'Turn The World Into A Dancefloor', is everything you'd expect from the label boss himself. Whether it be its beautiful harmonies, high-octane production, or the main stage worthy composition, Armin truly embodied trance culture within a single track. In addition to treating his ASOT army of fans to this fresh anthem, Armin also took the opportunity to reveal the ASOT 1000 festival, scheduled for September 3-4, 2021, at Jaabeurs in Utrecht. The first day of the event will pay tribute to the past 20 years of ASOT; the second will look forward to the future of the series and the genre that it represents. For many, this celebration brought a lot of hope.
